About Badi Calendar The Badi calendar, adopted by the Bahá'i Faith, is a solar calendar composed of nineteen months and four or five intercalary days. The beginning of the year occurs at the equinox in spring. Each month has its name representing a virtue (e.g., Perfection, Mercy), as do the days of the week. This calendar was initiated in 1844 when the Báb began to spread His teachings.

Qiblih Compass helps Bahá’ís turn toward the Qiblih, the sacred point of orientation for Obligatory Prayer. The app calculates the direction from your current location to Bahjí, near ‘Akká, and uses your iPhone’s compass heading to help you face the right way. Open the app, allow location access, hold your iPhone flat, and turn until the app indicates that you are facing the Qiblih. Features: • Helps you turn toward the Qiblih at Bahjí • Designed for use when preparing for Obligatory Prayer • Uses your iPhone’s location and compass heading • Shows your current heading, Qiblih bearing, and turn direction • No account required • No ads, analytics, or tracking • No location storage Your location is used only on your device to calculate the direction to Bahjí. It is not stored, transmitted, sold, or shared. Qiblih Compass is intentionally simple: a calm, focused aid for turning toward the Qiblih wherever you are.
