# ToastBuster Timer vs Chimera Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chimera Connect at every 4 days against ToastBuster Timer's every 2 months. Chimera Connect also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToastBuster Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chimera Connect sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToastBuster Timer ships an update every 2 months, Chimera Connect every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
