# SitzProbe vs Journey

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Journey at 2.1K against SitzProbe's 1. SitzProbe's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SitzProbe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Journey sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SitzProbe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Journey has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SitzProbe ships an update every 3 weeks, Journey every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
