# SitzProbe vs Kagi Assistant

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kagi Assistant at free against SitzProbe's freemium. Kagi Assistant also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). SitzProbe's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SitzProbe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Kagi Assistant sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $28.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SitzProbe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kagi Assistant has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SitzProbe ships an update every 3 weeks, Kagi Assistant weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
