# ScannerX vs Note it

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note it at every 9 days against ScannerX's every 3 weeks. Note it also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScannerX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Note it sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScannerX ships an update every 3 weeks, Note it every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
