# Alice vs NotePal

The clearest difference is update cadence: NotePal at every 2 days against Alice's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alice sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and NotePal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $13.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alice ships an update every 2 months, NotePal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
