# JIGPU vs Spur

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: JIGPU at none against Spur's 3. JIGPU also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Spur's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spur sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. JIGPU asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for JIGPU against 5.0 for Spur. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spur has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JIGPU ships an update every 2 weeks, Spur monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
