# Random Wheel Picker vs Wheel Spinner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Random Wheel Picker at free with in-app purchases against Wheel Spinner's subscription. Wheel Spinner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (170 vs 28). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Wheel Picker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wheel Spinner sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Random Wheel Picker against 4.7 for Wheel Spinner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheel Spinner has 170 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Random Wheel Picker ships an update every 3 weeks, Wheel Spinner weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
