# KASHUB vs Optimal

The clearest difference is device support: KASHUB at 3 against Optimal's 1. KASHUB also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KASHUB sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Optimal sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KASHUB ships an update every 4 weeks, Optimal fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
