# ACT Prep Pro vs Apprentice

The clearest difference is rating: Apprentice at 5.0 against ACT Prep Pro's 3.4. Apprentice also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ACT Prep Pro's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Apprentice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACT Prep Pro has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
