# I vs SHSI

The clearest difference is update cadence: SHSI at every 3 weeks against I's every 2 months. I's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

I ships an update every 2 months, SHSI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
