# DuoFace vs EXTRA SAFE

The clearest difference is rating: EXTRA SAFE at 4.4 against DuoFace's 2.3. EXTRA SAFE also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 3). DuoFace's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EXTRA SAFE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EXTRA SAFE has 102 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DuoFace's written reviews are positive against 82% of EXTRA SAFE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DuoFace ships an update every 9 days, EXTRA SAFE fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
