# Splitink vs Expenses

The clearest difference is update cadence: Expenses at every 2 weeks against Splitink's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Expenses sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splitink ships an update every 2 months, Expenses every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
