# Splitink vs Group Expense

The clearest difference is update cadence: Group Expense at every 2 weeks against Splitink's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Group Expense sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splitink ships an update every 2 months, Group Expense every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
