# Homework Helper vs SolveCam

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Homework Helper at 2.4K against SolveCam's 2. SolveCam's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Helper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and SolveCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SolveCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Helper has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
