# FeatherSnapCam vs Legacybox

FeatherSnapCam and Legacybox both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Legacybox's written reviews are positive against 63% of FeatherSnapCam's. Legacybox also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). FeatherSnapCam's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Legacybox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FeatherSnapCam has 4.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of FeatherSnapCam's written reviews are positive against 100% of Legacybox's.

FeatherSnapCam ships an update every 2 months, Legacybox every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
