# AcePace vs SpeechLP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AcePace at none against SpeechLP's 5. AcePace also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). SpeechLP's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (82 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeechLP sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $15.00 per month. AcePace asks for nothing beyond the download.

SpeechLP holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeechLP has 82 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AcePace ships an update every 4 months, SpeechLP every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
