# Chromatic Harmonica PRO vs Harmonica Sim

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chromatic Harmonica PRO at 75% against Harmonica Sim's 0%. Chromatic Harmonica PRO also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). Harmonica Sim's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chromatic Harmonica PRO sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Harmonica Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Harmonica Sim holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harmonica Sim has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Chromatic Harmonica PRO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Harmonica Sim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chromatic Harmonica PRO ships an update every 10 days, Harmonica Sim every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
