# GPS vs PlotFinder

The clearest difference is update cadence: PlotFinder at every 4 days against GPS's every 2 weeks. GPS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and PlotFinder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPS ships an update every 2 weeks, PlotFinder every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
