# Rumor vs Aluna Access

The clearest difference is rating: Rumor at 3.5 against Aluna Access's 3.0. Rumor also leads on ratings volume (53 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Aluna Access's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 74%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rumor holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rumor has 53 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Rumor's written reviews are positive against 91% of Aluna Access's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rumor ships an update every 5 days, Aluna Access fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
