# Rumor vs Ch@

The clearest difference is rating: Ch@ at 5.0 against Rumor's 3.5. Rumor's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ch@ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rumor has 51 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rumor ships an update every 5 days, Ch@ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
