# Haven vs Ellie

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Haven at 150K against Ellie's 1. Haven also leads on chart position (#8 vs unranked). Ellie's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs paid) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Haven sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Ellie sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Haven against 5.0 for Ellie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Haven has 150K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
