# Vigloo vs Sideskick

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Vigloo at 2.1K against Sideskick's 1. Vigloo also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and chart position (#83 vs unranked). Sideskick's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vigloo sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Sideskick sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sideskick holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vigloo has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vigloo ships an update weekly, Sideskick monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
