# Raycast vs Digext

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Digext at 100% against Raycast's 54%. Digext also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Raycast's advantage is ratings volume (250 vs 11) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Digext sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.69 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digext holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raycast has 250 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Raycast's written reviews are positive against 100% of Digext's.

Raycast ships an update every 11 days, Digext every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
