# Raycast vs WriteForge

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: WriteForge at 16.0 against Raycast's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and WriteForge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
