# rdx for Reddit vs Infinity for Reddit

The clearest difference is rating: rdx for Reddit at 4.4 against Infinity for Reddit's 3.7. rdx for Reddit also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (162 vs 15). Infinity for Reddit's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 47%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. rdx for Reddit sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Infinity for Reddit sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

rdx for Reddit holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: rdx for Reddit has 162 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of rdx for Reddit's written reviews are positive against 86% of Infinity for Reddit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
