# Capture Sync vs File Size Converter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Capture Sync at every 5 days against File Size Converter's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capture Sync sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and File Size Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Capture Sync ships an update every 5 days, File Size Converter monthly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
