# Diskwala vs Watcher

The clearest difference is rating: Watcher at 4.3 against Diskwala's 2.6. Watcher also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (33% vs 8%). Diskwala's advantage is ratings volume (150 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diskwala sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Watcher sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watcher holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diskwala has 150 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 8% of Diskwala's written reviews are positive against 33% of Watcher's.

Diskwala ships an update fortnightly, Watcher every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
