# Prayer Times + vs SalatPulse

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Prayer Times + at 551 against SalatPulse's 22. SalatPulse's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayer Times + sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SalatPulse sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Prayer Times + against 4.8 for SalatPulse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayer Times + has 551 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Prayer Times +'s written reviews are positive against 79% of SalatPulse's.

Prayer Times + ships an update fortnightly, SalatPulse every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
