# NRTH vs SkiEr

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SkiEr at none against NRTH's 3. NRTH's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NRTH sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. SkiEr asks for nothing beyond the download.

NRTH ships an update weekly, SkiEr every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
