# Aetheryte vs Planner for AC

The clearest difference is monetization model: Planner for AC at free against Aetheryte's free with in-app purchases. Planner for AC also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). Aetheryte's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 11). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aetheryte sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Planner for AC sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
