# Nomly vs The Recipes App

The clearest difference is ads: The Recipes App at none against Nomly's shown. Nomly's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nomly sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and The Recipes App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nomly ships an update every 2 days, The Recipes App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
