# Bookdot vs Librisomnia

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bookdot at 65 against Librisomnia's 3. Bookdot also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bookdot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Librisomnia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bookdot against 5.0 for Librisomnia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookdot has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Bookdot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Librisomnia's.

Bookdot ships an update weekly, Librisomnia fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
