# Continue vs Inkwell Reader

The clearest difference is monetization model: Inkwell Reader at free with in-app purchases against Continue's subscription. Continue's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Continue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month and Inkwell Reader sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Continue against 5.0 for Inkwell Reader. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
