# ShineShort vs FoxsTV

The clearest difference is ads: ShineShort at none against FoxsTV's shown. FoxsTV's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShineShort sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and FoxsTV sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShineShort ships an update every 4 months, FoxsTV fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
