# Shape Switch vs Athletics Rush

The clearest difference is rating: Shape Switch at 4.7 against Athletics Rush's 3.2. Shape Switch also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape Switch sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Athletics Rush sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shape Switch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shape Switch has 36 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shape Switch ships an update every 10 days, Athletics Rush every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
