# Nextbase vs GOV.UK One Login

The clearest difference is monetization model: GOV.UK One Login at free against Nextbase's free with in-app purchases. GOV.UK One Login also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 561) and iOS requirement (16.7 vs 18.0). Nextbase's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nextbase holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOV.UK One Login has 3.4K ratings behind it against 561, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 20% and 20% positive.

Nextbase ships an update every 4 weeks, GOV.UK One Login fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
