# GeminiCam vs Double Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Double Camera at every 3 days against GeminiCam's every 9 days. GeminiCam's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GeminiCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Double Camera sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GeminiCam ships an update every 9 days, Double Camera every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
