# Standy vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Interval Timer at weekly against Standy's every 7 months. Interval Timer also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Interval Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Standy ships an update every 7 months, Interval Timer weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
