# Trace vs LockScreen Calendar Maker

The clearest difference is rating: LockScreen Calendar Maker at 4.8 against Trace's 4.2. Trace's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 44%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trace sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LockScreen Calendar Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockScreen Calendar Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Trace's written reviews are positive against 44% of LockScreen Calendar Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trace ships an update every 2 days, LockScreen Calendar Maker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
