# Snapchores vs ChoreSight

The clearest difference is rating: ChoreSight at 5.0 against Snapchores's 3.4. Snapchores's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snapchores sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ChoreSight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChoreSight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snapchores has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snapchores ships an update fortnightly, ChoreSight weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
