# MyBinaryRecords vs ScreenHalt

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScreenHalt at every 2 weeks against MyBinaryRecords's monthly. MyBinaryRecords's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyBinaryRecords sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ScreenHalt sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyBinaryRecords ships an update monthly, ScreenHalt every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
