# Total Security vs AI Cleanup

Total Security and AI Cleanup both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Total Security's written reviews are positive against 31% of AI Cleanup's. Total Security also leads on ads (none vs shown). AI Cleanup's advantage is ratings volume (6.6K vs 489). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Total Security sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and AI Cleanup sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Total Security against 4.3 for AI Cleanup. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Cleanup has 6.6K ratings behind it against 489, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Total Security's written reviews are positive against 31% of AI Cleanup's.

Total Security ships an update fortnightly, AI Cleanup every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
