# UpMessage AI vs NextText

The clearest difference is ads: NextText at none against UpMessage AI's shown. NextText also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UpMessage AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and NextText sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
