# Countdown Widget vs Stash

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stash at every 5 days against Countdown Widget's every 3 weeks. Countdown Widget's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Widget ships an update every 3 weeks, Stash every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
