# Tracktastic vs Habit Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Habit Tracker at none against Tracktastic's shown. Habit Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (25 vs 3). Tracktastic's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tracktastic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Habit Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tracktastic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Habit Tracker has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Tracktastic's written reviews are positive against 94% of Habit Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tracktastic ships an update every 4 weeks, Habit Tracker every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
