# Tracktastic vs Punchcard

The clearest difference is ads: Punchcard at none against Tracktastic's shown. Punchcard also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (36 vs 3). Tracktastic's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tracktastic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Punchcard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tracktastic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Punchcard has 36 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Tracktastic's written reviews are positive against 50% of Punchcard's.

Tracktastic ships an update every 4 weeks, Punchcard every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
