# DFS Lineup Optimizer vs Kubb Coach

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kubb Coach at free against DFS Lineup Optimizer's free with in-app purchases. Kubb Coach also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). DFS Lineup Optimizer's advantage is ratings volume (124 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DFS Lineup Optimizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Kubb Coach sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kubb Coach holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DFS Lineup Optimizer has 124 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DFS Lineup Optimizer ships an update weekly, Kubb Coach every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
