# Pitloon vs The ToolBox

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pitloon at free against The ToolBox's free with in-app purchases. The ToolBox's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pitloon ships an update every 2 months, The ToolBox every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
