# Rex Voice vs OBS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rex Voice at every 10 days against OBS's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rex Voice sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and OBS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rex Voice ships an update every 10 days, OBS every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
